Bermuda 1383

Bermuda 1383 (officially BERMUDA MCCCLXXXIII, the Roman numeral spelling) is a young skateboard brand from Norway, founded by Didrik Galasso. Known as "Deedz," the pro from Larvik lives in Lisbon and is considered one of the rawest and most versatile street skaters in Europe, recognized for his handrail tricks and skating on bumpy cobblestone spots. After enjoi returned under the control of Louie Barletta, Didrik decided to go his own way and build his own thing. The brand was announced in March 2026. After years without a board sponsor, he also received encouragement from skate legend Heath Kirchart, who urged him to take the step into self-employment.

The concept behind Bermuda 1383 is deliberately independent: no investors, no large corporations, no one telling him what to do—instead, skateboards, clothing, and accessories based on his own vision. Didrik does not see Bermuda as a rigid corporate image, but as a collective in which every rider has full creative freedom, whether for punk-inspired graphics or their own artwork. Everyone should truly stand behind what they ride and wear. The goal is to make the brand self-sustaining in the long term, with regular collections, skate trips, shop demos, and a team whose members are paid for their skating.

What the brand looks like in motion is showcased in Didrik's 2026 video part “Primary Colors,” with which Bermuda 1383 firmly established its presence directly on the streets. Bermuda 1383 thus stands for core skateboarding from a skater who, without detours, is realizing exactly what he is passionate about.
